This propane valve is made for cylinders equiped with an over pressurization device (OPD) valve.  This patented cap not only protects the outside threads on the valve but the threads on the inside as well.  This is where most of the contamination accumulates.  Keep insects and other debris out of the valve. These caps are also available in Blue (Part Number ACM-419), Green (Part Number ACM 444), Yellow ACM-512, and Black (Part Number ACM 445).
